The Twins tendered contracts to all of their major league arbitration-eligible players ahead of Friday’s 7 p.m. deadline, notably retaining infielder Kyle Farmer, the biggest question mark of the bunch. While some of the decisions weren’t much of decisions at all — as with Alex Kirilloff and Ryan Jeffers — there were some questions around other players, particularly Farmer. In the end, every player that was on the major league roster — Kirilloff, Jeffers, Farmer, Caleb Thielbar, Willi Castro, Nick Gordon and Jorge Alcala — were retained while the Twins opted to non-tender minor league relievers Jovani Moran, who is set to undergo Tommy John surgery, and Ronny Henriquez. The Twins could re-sign both to minor league deals. The Twins have been highly complimentary of Farmer — both because of his play on the field and his presence in the clubhouse — since he arrived in Minnesota last year. But on the football field, he has been on a year-long pursuit of records.CSU head coach Jay Norvell only got to coach Kamara for two seasons, but he remembers having to game-plan against him as the coach at Nevada.“One thing about Mo Kamara is he’s just a relentless player and that’s what makes him such a good pass rusher,” Norvell said. “I think they could call the O-line for holding a half dozen times every game. They have to hold him to stop him from getting to the quarterback.“That’s what I saw on film. And then when I got here and met him, I could relate to him.
