This year is especially important for the association, as not only has the pandemic impacted their ability to host large events in recent years, but they have been facing increased operational costs, especially for horse care items like hay.“The Joanne Perlich Ride for Dreams is one of our organization’s core fundraising events. At its core, the two-part fundraising event is to support the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady male accused of assaulting a former intimate partner and the mother of his two children was convicted by a Schenectady County Jury on Wednesday. Jahaad Ubrich was convicted of burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child. A man awaiting sentencing for killing a Missouri police officer is challenging the constitutionality of a state law that allows judges to hand down the death sentence.A jury in June convicted 45-year-old Ian McCarthy of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Clinton Police Officer Gary Lee Michael Jr. during a 2017 traffic stop.
