Josh Bischof, Tim Rodriguez, Tony Sousa Dead after Helicopter Crash [Cabazon, CA] Three Dead after Two Fire-Fighting Helicopters Collided in Mid-AirCABAZON, CA (August 8, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a helicopter crash claimed the lives of Josh Bischof, Tim Rodriguez, and Tony Sousa.The crash occurred on August 6th, just before 7:00 p.m., in mid-air and the wreckage landed near the intersection of Main Street and Broadway Street.According to reports, six aircraft were in the area fighting a structure and vegetation fire. While in the air, two of those helicopters, a Sikorsky S-64E and a Bell 407 collided.The Sikorsky S-64E was able to safely land nearby, but the Bell 407 crashed with three occupants inside.Officials declared all three occupants dead at the scene.
