Back-to-backs, the Nuggets bid you wary adieu, for now.In their league-leading ninth back-to-back of the first 45% of the season, Denver fell short of a road-home sweep with a 122-120 loss to the Magic on Friday night at Ball Arena. Jamal Murray’s attempt at a game-tying jumper rimmed out as time expired, not quite recreating the magic Nikola Jokic conjured the previous night.Denver’s plan for the last possession was to get the ball to Jokic in the pocket, coach Michael Malone said. But the Magic switched on the screen as Murray and Jokic tried to initiate their two-man game, and Murray was bumped backward, throwing off the play and forcing him to improvise.“But we lost this game in the third quarter,” Malone said. “… As I told our guys, whatever you’re doing at halftime, it’s not working. Individually and collectively. I’m beating guys out of the locker room at halftime. Get out there and get ready to play, man.”Jalen Sugg...Ontario-bound flight makes emergency landing after hole opens up in cabin

(KRON) -- Local popular coffee chain Philz Coffee has moved its headquarters from San Francisco to Oakland, CEO Mahesh Sadarangani said in a statement on Friday. The former headquarters in San Francisco was in the Dogpatch neighborhood. The company was founded in San Francisco more than 20 years ago, with the first coffee shop in the Mission District. Philz Coffee's new headquarters in Oakland will be at the company's roasting facility. Sadarangani said the existing lease on the SF building "no longer aligned with our needs as a accompany." He added that is due, in part, to the fact nearly all of Philz's corporate team members are fully remote. Adidas store at San Francisco Centre set to close Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao is excited and "honored" about the San Francisco-founded company's move to her city. "So happy to welcome Philz to their permanent home right here in the Town," Thao posted Friday on X. Not after how much they struggled at the start of the season to dig themselves in an early hole. They’re well out of that, and scoring six unanswered goals on the way to a 6-2 victory Friday night at the Washington Capitals showed how far they’ve come since October.
