TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Some tenants were allowed to return to the Harbour Point Gardens apartment complex in Troy, but dozens more remain displaced. A driver died in a three-vehicle crash in Aurora involving a dump truck, and the driver of an involved pickup truck was cited for right of way violation, police said.The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at East 11th Avenue and Piccadilly Street, the Aurora Police Department said in a news release.The driver of a Ford F-150 was eastbound on 11th and attempted to turn onto Piccadilly when the pickup collided with a southbound Kenworth dump truck. A couple surrendered a baby that was handed to them by a woman at a Hollywood restaurant early Tuesday, police said.The incident occurred just after midnight at Chris N Eddy’s, located at 5539 Sunset Blvd., according to the Beverly Hills Police Department, which was originally handling the case.The couple was eating at the restaurant when they were approached by a woman holding a 1-month-old baby. A 40-year-old man from Los Angeles was convicted by a federal jury for a scheme involving the illegal sale of 27 guns, including a “Glock switch,” which transforms a semiautomatic firearm into a machine gun, authorities announced Tuesday.
