Andrew Booth Jr. has already battled through his fair share of injuries in his playing career. Luckily for the Vikings cornerback, he avoided a major injury after leaving practice early last week.“Nothing serious,” Both said on Saturday after the Vikings wrapped up their walkthrough. “I’ll get back on the grass tomorrow.”That statement from Booth came a couple of days after head coach Kevin O’Connell said the 22-year-old cornerback was “seeing the folks he needs to see” in an attempt to get back onto the field. Though it’s unclear who exactly Booth saw over the past 48 hours, he clearly is expecting to participate in practice on Sunday. As of now, Booth seems to be decidedly behind fellow cornerbacks Byron Murphy and Akayleb Evans on the depth chart with a handful of players jockeying for position. Asked what he’s thought about Booth so far, new defensive coordinator Brian Flores praised his grasp of the defense.“He...PHOTOS: St. Louis Mighty Con returns with a new venue and exciting lineup of special guests

These huge television contracts have ruined college football. And I blame the SEC. It’s pure trash. I loved the old Big Eight Conference, when the Buffs, Nebraska and Oklahoma would trade blows with each other.— Adrian, DenverKiz: Incredible arrogance and bad judgment of Pac-12 leadership (here’s looking at you, former commissioner Larry Scott), pushed the Conference of Champions from glory to extinction in a period of 10 years. But in the end, was it new CU coach Deion Sanders that struck the death blow? His arrival in Boulder made the Buffs a brand the Big 12 coveted. Once the Buffs bolted, it was all over but the rats jumping ship as the Pac-12 slowly sank into the ocean. My romantic views of college football and student athletics died long ago. These kids are basically pros. Nothing surprises me anymore. I support CU and let myself get fooled for a few hours on football Saturdays in the fall.
