A 29-year-old man who worked at a Glendale elementary school has been arrested in connection with committing lewd acts on a minor.Pedro Antonio Tellez, aka Pedro Antonio Hernandez Llamas, worked at John Muir Elementary School and had worked part-time in the city's One Glendale After School Youth Sports Program and Summer Day Camp Program since March, according to police.Authorities believe some of the alleged offenses occurred on school campus, according to victim statements.Tellez was arrested Tuesday. “The City of Glendale is committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for everyone in our community, especially our children who rely on adults to protect them from harm,” police said in a news release.Detectives are working with the Glendale Unified School District in seeking additional possible victims or witnesses.Anyone with more information about the suspect or who believes their child may have been victimized is asked to call Glendale Police Department’s assaults bur...Disneyland offering discounts on kids' tickets

Disneyland is launching a limited-time kids’ ticket deal that can be used for visits to the “Happiest Place on Earth“ beginning in early 2024.Beginning on Oct. 24, guests can purchase kids’ tickets for as low as $50 per child per day and be able to choose between one-, two- or three-day park ticket options. Bicycle-Auto Collision near Greenback Lane Left One FatalityCITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (October 4, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a person was fatally struck in a bicycle accident on San Juan Avenue.The fatal collision happened around 12:21 p.m. at the 6200 block of San Juan Avenue near Greenback Lane.According to the police, responding officers located the bicyclist on the roadway suffering from serious injuries.Unfortunately, first responders declared the rider dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.At around 12:30 p.m., authorities closed Sylvan Road from Stock Ranch Road to Greenback Lane as crews cleared the scene. The roadway has since been reopened to the public.Police do not suspect alcohol and drugs to be a factor in the incident.
