Two people were arrested Thursday morning after allegedly trying to break into evacuated homes affected by a landslide in Rolling Hills Estates, officials said.Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were providing security to houses in the area when they were made aware of two people tying to burglarize the evacuated homes.Deputies established a perimeter as the suspects tried to run into the landslide area, officials said.The Torrance Police Department used a drone to help find the suspects and deputies took them into custody, officials said. Hit-and-Run Crash near Washington Avenue Leaves Pedestrian DeadLAS VEGAS, NV (July 13, 2023) – Early Monday morning, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash claimed the life of Ryan Stewart Ragonesi.It happened on July 10th, just before 2:15 a.m., near the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Washington Avenue.According to reports, Ragonesi was walking in the area when a white 2019 Ford F-150 struck him.
