Suspect wanted in two St. Louis County ATM burglaries ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Police are searching for a suspect in connection with two recent ATM burglaries in north St. Louis County. The St. Louis County Police Department released several photos Thursday of the wanted suspect during an apparent ATM heist earlier this week. Police say the suspect broke into an ATM around 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 9200 block of Lewis and Clark Boulevard, taking off with thousands of dollars. Missouri expecting two rounds of winter weather The suspect was caught on camera with black clothing and used a newer-model Jeep Grand Cherokee in the crime, possibly a Trackhawk model.Investigators say the Jeep was possibly a black or gray Jeep that was recently painted white. Denver sheriff’s firearms instructor unintentionally shoots rifle into neighbor’s house A Denver Sheriff Department firearms instructor unintentionally fired a rifle into his neighbor’s kitchen in August, according to a disciplinary letter released Wednesday.Deputy David Steckman will be suspended for 14 days over the incident, according to the Dec. 14 letter. Steckman, a firearms instructor and 27-year employee of the sheriff’s department, unintentionally fired the gun while in the bedroom of his Commerce City home on Aug. 21.The bullet shot through his bedroom wall and into his neighbor’s kitchen, according to the disciplinary letter. Steckman told investigators he was practicing how to handle the rifle if it were to malfunction and going through the steps of a “malfunction drill.” The rifle was loaded and had a round in the chamber, but Steckman failed to check the chamber, and when he completed the drill and pulled the rifle’s trigger, the gun fired.Steckman said he immediately put the rifle down and went to check on his neighbor...

Public Health warns of botulism risk from mulberry jam, molasses Shemshad’s Mulberry Molasses and Mulberry Jam food products sold in the Los Angeles area may be contaminated with the bacteria that causes botulism, according to the California Department of Public Health.The molasses and jam sold at Woodland Hills Market in Woodland Hills, Q Market in Van Nuys and Wholesome Choice Market in Irvine may contain Clostridium botulinum, CDPH said in a news release."[The molasses and jam] were produced outside of the CDPH Cannery Program oversight, making them susceptible to contamination with Clostridium botulinum," CDPH said.
