Looks like the jig is up for Bill Hader’s hitman in last season of ‘Barry’

The fourth and final season of HBO’s “Barry” returns with its title character, the ex-Marine turned hitman (turned actor, turned abusive boyfriend), behind bars and about to go down for at least one of his crimes. Everything’s come to a head. Or has it?The show’s co-creators Alec Berg and Bill Hader (Hader also stars) keep us guessing while exploring a larger, tantalizing theme: Can you ever really start over — whether that means mending a toxic relationship, or going legit, or simply running away from your past? Maybe it’s an impossibility in the end. We are who we are. You can never right these kinds of wrongs.Barry has always been an elusive character, both self-hating and entitled, and one of the show’s strengths is how well it captures that inner chaos and shame. He’s incapable of real honesty, even with the man in the mirror, which has led to all kinds of erratic behavior. He thought acting might give him something — truth, relief, a sense of self — but like everything else in...Catch the Ocean Race in Newport for a great seaside adventure

Q. My ex is accusing me of all sorts of terrible things on Facebook. The court doesn’t listen to his accusations, so he plays it out on the internet. I’m a cheater, a whore, I’ve taken his children, none of which is true. So many of our friends have blocked him, and he even blames me for that. What can I do? What’s good ex-etiquette?A. Good ex-etiquette is “good behavior after divorce or separation.” There is nothing about that that can be said to be good behavior. At this point, the first step is to block him, and when your friends give you an accounting of what he says, simply say that you don’t know what he is saying because he is blocked. Your friends will understand your position and make their own decisions on how to interact with him. If, as you say, many have blocked him, then you already know the outcome. And you always have the option of deleting your account. There is one negative aspect of just not letting it get to you and walking away. You will have no record of what was...East SR-78 construction continues, repairs expected to last three more weeks
