IRS contractor charged with stealing Trump’s tax returns

By Hannah Rabinowitz and Evan Perez | CNNFederal prosecutors announced charges Friday against a contractor with the Internal Revenue Service who allegedly stole the tax returns of a high-ranking government official. A source familiar with the matter told CNN that official is former President Donald Trump.The man, 38-year-old Charles Edward Littlejohn, worked with the IRS from 2018 to 2020, according to court documents. During his contract, Littlejohn allegedly stole “tax returns and return information associated with Public Official A” and disclosed that information to a news organization.Though the official is not named in court documents, a source familiar with the investigation told CNN the tax returns in question were Trump’s.In addition to the former president’s tax documents, Littlejohn is also accused of stealing IRS information on “thousands of the nation’s wealthiest people, including returns and return information dating back more than 15 years.” Littlejohn then sent that ...Man dies after possible fight on Antioch trail, investigated as homicide: police

(KRON) -- A man died after a "possible" physical fight on the DeAnza trail Friday morning, the Antioch Police Department said in a press release. The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the trail near 4100 Null Drive. APD officers arrived at the scene and saw one of the individuals involved was unconscious, police said. APD and fire crews responded to the scene to perform life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene. The victim was a Black man around 30 to 40 years old. The circumstances of what led to the unidentified victim's death were not revealed by APD. Police are investigating this incident as a homicide, and no suspect information is available at this time.
