ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Louis County jury convicted Wednesday a man who worked as a security guard for the Hazelwood School District and St. Louis Charter Schools for engaging in sexual acts with an underage girl.In August 2020, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Dexter Wade, now 40, with one count of first-degree statutory rape, three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, one count of enticement of a child, and one count of second-degree statutory rape.These incidents occurred between Aug. 1, 2016, and June 30, 2017, while Wade worked as a guard for the Hazelwood School District. He worked in the district from October 2013 to November 2016. Madonna’s greatest-hits cavalcade will no longer be visiting Denver next month after the singer’s management canceled her 2023 “Celebration” tour on Wednesday afternoon.Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, said a “serious bacterial infection” required the 64-year-old singer to be treated in intensive care for several days, according to a prepared statement on his Instagram account. A restaurant chain with self-pour beer taps is coming to Arapahoe Square.Tapville Social, a franchise company based in Illinois, is set to open its first Colorado location at 1010 Park Avenue West later this year. It has taken 1,827 square feet at the base of the three-story building.Tapville CEO Joseph Tota said the new location will be owned by franchisee Colton Harris and will open in the fall. Harris also owns XLV Realty in Denver and works as a broker.The restaurant will feature 24 taps with both local and national beer, Tota said, noting franchisees can pick the specific offerings. More than a dozen people were hurt when an Amtrak train partially derailed late Wednesday morning after striking a water truck in Moorpark, officials said.The derailment occurred at about 11:30 a.m. at a railroad crossing near Los Angeles Avenue. According to the Ventura County Fire Department, the train was carrying 186 passengers and 13 crew members when it hit the public works truck. Good Samaritan Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near State Route 262FREMONT, CA (June 28, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, one woman was pronounced dead after a pedestrian collision on Interstate 880.Authorities responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near State Route 262.Officers say the driver of a Chevrolet crashed on the off-ramp when the male driver of a Mitsubishi along with his female passenger pulled over to help.The driver of a passing Ford F-150 then struck the Mitsubishi, pushing it forward into the woman who was standing outside of her vehicle. Pedestrian-Auto Collision in Flower District Left Two Women Critically InjuredLOS ANGELES, CA (June 28, 2023) – Saturday morning, a pedestrian crash on South San Pedro Street left a mother and teenage daughter injured.Emergency personnel responded to the collision around 9:42 p.m. at 916 S.
