The S&P 500 rose 1.4% and is within 2% of its own record. LOS ANGELES — The NBA suspended Draymond Green indefinitely, the league announced Wednesday in a statement that provided vague language for the terms required for him to return to play.Green was suspended for hitting Jusuf Nurkic, earning him a Flagrant 2 foul and ejection in the Warriors’ loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.“He will be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he can return to play,” the league statement reads. This is Green’s second suspension of the season just 23 games into the year and marked his third ejection of the season. Despite offering the same contract as his other suitors, the Giants lost out on Shohei Ohtani, extending their drought of landing superstars.Via either free agency or trade over the past several years, the Giants have tried unsuccessfully to land Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Giancarlo Stanton and now Ohtani. Although they reportedly signed Korean center fielder Jung Hoo Lee this week to a six-year, $113 million deal — the richest for a position player in franchise history — the last two true blockbuster acquisitions were Barry Zito in 2007 ($126 million for seven years) and Barry Bonds 14 years prior. In an interview with Andy Baggarly of The Athletic, part-owner Buster Posey pointed to the city of San Francisco’s issues with crime and homelessness, and the perception of those issues, as a factor in their failed free-agent pursuits.“Something I think is noteworthy, something that unfortunately keeps popping up from players and even the players’ wives is there’s a bit of an uneasiness w...Draymond Green suspended indefinitely by NBA

(KRON) -- Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been suspended "indefinitely" by the NBA, the league announced Wednesday evening. Effectively immediately, the decision to suspend him was due to "Green's repeated history of unsportsmanlike conduct." "He will be required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play," the NBA said in a statement. 49ers investigating noose seen at tailgate ahead of Seahawks game The suspension comes the day after Green was ejected during the Warriors' loss against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. The hit on Nurkic comes just a few weeks after Green was handed a five-game suspension for putting Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a chokehold. FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Zach Wilson recognizes he and the New York Jets’ offense have set a precedent. For a change, they were efficient and productive. That was last Sunday, though, in a 30-6 drubbing of the Houston Texans. Next up are the Miami Dolphins — and expectations have been raised.“I think it shows us what we can do as an offense,” Wilson said Wednesday. “Now that we set the bar there, we’ve got to be able to show we can do it again. I think that’s always the thing is, hey, you did it once, now you’ve got to show us you can do it again.”That has been the running theme for Wilson, who has flashed at times the talent that made him the No. 2 overall pick in 2021. But those bright spots have been often overshadowed by poor play and frustrating inconsistency. His future with the franchise is uncertain beyond this season, but his performance last week is certainly a blueprint for success moving forward. Wilson was 27 of 35 for 301 yards while setting career highs wit...Latest news
