Blaine Baggao started a food truck and opened a brick-and-mortar site. Now, he’s combining the two.The 38-year-old restaurateur behind Adobo in West Highland, which serves Filipino and Mexican food, is launching a food truck park in Wheat Ridge at the end of the month.“I respect the hell out of my industry and want to give them something where they can feel like they’re at home … as opposed to just showing up and being a nice amenity,” Baggao said.MoonRise Garden Bar will operate on a 20,000-square-foot lot at 6875 W. 38th Ave. It will hold up to four food trucks, including Adobo’s, and a bar. A woman carrying a replica gun was shot and killed by Boulder police Sunday afternoon after she allegedly pointed the replica at someone outside the North Boulder Recreation Center and then ran from police, officials said.Boulder police Deputy Chief Ron Gosage announced the woman’s death at a news conference in front of Boulder police headquarters Monday afternoon, 18 hours after the department first posted on X that there had been a police shooting. Southwest Airlines has been given the largest fine ever levied against an airline for last year's holiday travel debacle which saw thousands of flights canceled near Christmas.The U.S. Department of Transportation penalized Southwest a record-breaking $140 million civil penalty on Monday for violating consumer protection laws. OAKLAND — Police have released the identity of a man who was shot and killed here three weeks ago.Antone R. Wiggins, 31, was shot and killed at an apartment complex on the 10900 block of MacArthur Boulevard, around 11 a.m. Nov. 28. Wiggins was reportedly shot inside another person’s unit, then ran a short distance and collapsed in the parking lot, according to police.Authorities haven’t said if Wiggins lived at the complex.Days after Wiggins was killed, police say, a suspect turned herself in at the police station but refused to provide a statement.
