SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A 29-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in connection with the homicide of a San Francisco tech worker, the San Francisco Police Department announced. Scott Fisher was arrested in Concord after being identified as the suspect in the death of Kimberly Wong, 27. Wong was found dead in her Presidio Heights apartment on Nov 30. Ex-pilot Joseph Emerson released from jail, allowed to return home to Bay Area SFPD officers responded to the 3200 block of Clay Street on that date for a well-being check. They found Wong unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead. Fisher was arrested at 10:25 a.m. Thursday and booked into San Francisco County Jail for homicide. (KRON) -- New charges have been filed against a California prison inmate who attempted to murder Kristin Smart's killer, Paul Ruben Flores, prosecutors said.The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office filed charges on Wednesday against the 43-year-old inmate, Jason Richard Budrow, who is already serving two life sentences.Budrow has a record of killing fellow inmates. In 2021 he strangled his cellmate, Roger Kibbe, to death inside Mule Creek State Prison. Kibbe was a serial killer and rapist dubbed the "I-5 Strangler."
