WASHINGTON (The Hill) — The federal judge overseeing Hunter Biden’s case in Delaware dismissed two misdemeanor tax charges against him in a filing on Thursday. U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika dismissed the charges after David Weiss, the federal prosecutor leading the case against Biden, moved to dismiss them last week to bring charges in Washington, D.C., or California. The zoo said that habitat loss, poaching, wildlife trafficking, and issues that threaten human-wildlife coexistence contributed to the decline of such African lions in the wild. PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- The City of Pittsfield has issued an update on the Holmes Road bridge repair project. The city stated they have been assured by the project's contractor that the bridge will reopen on August 25 as planned. A bicyclist died after colliding with another bicyclist Saturday on Eldorado Springs Drive and Senda Rocosa Drive near Eldorado Springs.The bicyclist has been identified as 57-year-old James Finn by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.A 50-year-old cyclist who was also involved in the crash endured serious injuries and was transferred to a local hospital, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested the person they say knocked out an 86-year-old woman, but they're looking for another person who was apparently not involved in the attack but stole the woman's wallet while she laid unconscious on the ground.The Aug. 8 attack at about 2:40 p.m. in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood of South Los Angeles sent the woman to a local hospital in critical condition, and police arrested a suspect in the battery that day, the LAPD said in a news release.Surveillance video from Metro bus No. 1957 on Line 204 showed multiple people standing around the incapacitated woman, including one man in a New York Yankees jacket, a dark beanie, dark pants and gray shoes. A hazmat team is responding to an oil sheen off the coast of Huntington Beach Friday morning that resulted from a boat that sank in the area, officials said. A boat apparently sank sometime Thursday, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley said in a tweet. She specified the incident was not an oil spill. The U.S. Coast Guard is overseeing the incident, and beachgoers are being asked to stay out of the ocean between Beach Boulevard and Seapoint, the Huntington Beach Fire Department said in a tweet. A Marine who was assigned as a student to the School of Infantry-West died during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton Thursday, officials said.The unidentified Marine was participating in a night live-fire training at the base, according to spokesman Major Joshua J. At least one Los Angeles Police Department officer opened fire in Watts Friday morning, striking a man police say was armed with a gun.At about 6:40 a.m. in an alley in the 2100 block of East 103rd Street, an armed man was reportedly waving his handgun around in the alley, according to Lt.
