RENSSELAER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Casey's Restaurant, also known as Casey's 518, in Rensselaer has closed its doors. The announcement was made on its Facebook page on July 1. "It is with so much sadness but so so much love and gratefulness that we are announcing today the closing of Casey’s 518," said the owners. In November 2022, Jimmy Casey, who owned the restaurant for almost 30 years, announced that he was retiring and the restaurant had been sold. The new owners reopened Casey's in January 2023. TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Management for the Harbour Point Gardens Apartment Complex appeared in court Aug. 8 for a status update on the improvements needed. In court, the complex's management, 182 Delaware, LLC., said 22 units, of the 58 originally deemed unfit for occupancy, have been cleared for residents to move back in. Just last week, the City of Troy granted a building permit for the complex, lifting a stop work order that was previously issued by the city. KNOX, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 71-year-old Delmar woman who was reported missing to the Bethlehem Police Department on Sunday, was found dead in Thompson's Lake on Tuesday, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office. On Tuesday, around 4:59 p.m., deputies were called to the area of 106 Nature Center Way in Knox to check on an unoccupied car that had been in the same place since Sunday night. After checking the car's registration, law enforcement learned the registered owner was reported missing to the Bethlehem Police Department on Sunday.After searching the area, deputies say they found the woman unresponsive in Thompson's Lake close to the shoreline. Deputies say there are no signs of foul play and a toxicology report and autopsy will be conducted at a later date. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A man faces a felony charge after he allegedly led officers on a lengthy pursuit from north St. Louis County to Illinois. Derek Stinnett, 39, was charged with one count of resisting arrest by fleeing (creating a substantial risk of injury). Check the radar -- Storms expected Wednesday According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, the pursuit happened on July 27 and began on Interstate 70 near Cypress Road in St. Ann. When an officer initially tried to pull over Stinnett, he didn't stop. Police say he drove over the speed limit and was weaving in and out of traffic in a reckless manner. Authorities followed Stinnett into Illinois, and the pursuit ended after he crashed into another vehicle, per court documents. Stinnett is jailed on a $75,000 cash-only bond. Longtime California Sen. Dianne Feinstein was hospitalized Tuesday after falling at her San Francisco home, according to reports.The San Francisco Chronicle reported on the fall after talking to Feinstein's spokesperson Adam Russell Wednesday.
