The Giants have a ton to work on after an non-competitive performance in their opener

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Brian Daboll didn’t get much sleep after the New York Giants were embarrassed 40-0 by the Dallas Cowboys in prime time on national television.Instead of building off making the playoffs for the first time since 2016 and living up to the preseason hype with a new and improved roster, the Giants were not competitive Sunday night. They made physical and mental errors, turned the ball over twice, did not protect quarterback Daniel Jones, gave away points and looked very much like the also-rans who frustrated their fans by posting five straight losing seasons from 2017-21.“I’d say when you walk out after a game like that, there is a lot of emotion,” Daboll said Monday. “You put everything you got into it, and we didn’t perform well and that starts with me. There is a self-reflection and then you watch the tape, you go through whether it’s decisions, whether it’s plays, whether it’s techniques and then you move on to the next week.”The Giants have a big ...Candidate in high-stakes Virginia election performed sex acts with husband in live videos

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A candidate in a high-stakes legislative contest in Virginia had sex with her husband in live videos posted on a pornographic website and asked viewers to pay them money in return for carrying out specific sex acts.Screenshots of Susanna Gibson on the website were shared with The Associated Press. The campaign for Gibson, a Democrat running for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates in a district just outside Richmond, issued a statement Monday in which it denounced the sharing of the videos as a violation of the law and her privacy. Gibson called the exposure of the videos “the worst gutter politics.”“It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,” she said in the statement. “My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up.”The Washington Post first reported the videos on Monday. The revelation marked an...Safety Damar Hamlin won’t play in the Bills’ opener against the Jets

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Damar Hamlin was listed among Buffalo’s inactives, so he will not play in a regular-season game for the first time since going into cardiac arrest when the Bills open the season against the New York Jets on Monday night. The Bills made the decision official about 90 minutes before kickoff when the teams announced their inactive players for the game.Hamlin, a safety who had to be resuscitated on the field in Cincinnati in January, played in three exhibition games this summer. He made the Bills’ roster as a backup after many doubted he would be able to take the field again.Listed as the fourth safety on Buffalo’s depth chart, Hamlin is expected to be limited to mostly special teams roles barring injuries to starters Jordan Poyer or Micah Hyde.Hamlin, 25, was starting in place of an injured Hyde against the Bengals on Jan. 2 when his heart stopped as a result of commotio cordis, which is when a direct blow at a specific point in a heartbeat causes card...Quién es Frank Rubio, el astronauta de origen salvadoreño que batió un récord en el espacio

Considering it’s September (2nd wettest month of the year for south Florida) it’s a relatively quiet weather pattern. If you encounter a rain shower, the activity will be minimal favoring inland areas during the afternoon. The reason? Limited showers may be triggered by the sea breeze boundary that pushes inland. For the time being, wind speeds remain light with just a steamy breeze arriving from the ocean. Meanwhile, Hurricane Lee is about 1000 miles away. The large and strong system will steer far away from Florida while also avoiding the Bahamas as it makes a northward turn (very soon). The main weather story, for us, revolves around “extra hot” temperatures. On Monday, Miami was just one-degree shy of a record high (peaking at 93-degrees Monday afternoon). More impressively, Marathon hit 96-degrees and actually tied the record for the date! On Tuesday and Wednesday, we could get close to records again. Also, humidity values will make it feel ...Actress Lisa Edelstein enters the art world with first solo exhibit
