Get your free ice cream at the Ben & Jerry's on Phila Street in Saratoga Springs on Monday, April 3 from noon to 8 p.m. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Each year the store chooses a nonprofit community partner that aligns with the values of Ben & Jerry's. The Saratoga store will be partnering with the Saratoga Springs Public Library and the newly formed SoBro Conservancy of Saratoga for the delicious event. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - After months of restoration efforts, Missouri’s oldest African-American one-room schoolhouse is set to reopen to visitors this weekend. African Schoolhouse #4 is the only known surviving log African-American school in St. LouisCounty. It stands at the Faust Park Historic Village in Chesterfield. Trending: Missouri’s top barbecue joint is in St. Louis, according to Yelp Built in 1893 by a group of Black farmers, the schoolhouse was originally located off Wild Horse Creek Road. The schoolhouse remained in use through the 1950s and was later donated to St. Louis County Parks staff for preservation efforts. In 2021, the schoolhouse was moved to its current location in Faust Park. Through hard work and determination from several people, it was painstakingly taken apart, piece by piece, but recently back together and restored. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - One Powerball player recently won a $1 million prize from a ticket purchased at a St. Louis County Schnucks. The winning ticket was purchased from the Schnucks store at 10275 Clayton Road near Ladue city limits and Interstate 64. Trending: Missouri’s top barbecue joint is in St. Louis, according to Yelp Missouri Lottery says the ticket was for the Feb. 22 drawing. The lucky winner matched all dive white-ball numbers for that drawing: 11, 19, 39, 44 and 65. The Powerball number was 7. Missouri Lottery did not disclose whether the winner has claimed the prize. Four players in Missouri have won $1 million prizes this year with the matching white-ball numbers in Powerball drawings. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is looking for two men accused of killing a rideshare driver and taking his vehicle in Lynwood early Friday morning.The driver was shot in the upper torso at around 1:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Imperial Highway, the LASD said in a news release. His wife identified him as 38-year-old Marine veteran Aaron Orozco, a father of two young children.Footage shows the crime scene was outside of a 7-Eleven. Investigators learned that Orozco had been working as a rideshare driver and had stopped in a parking lot, where he and his two passengers became "involved in a physical altercation," authorities said. A passenger then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Orozco before the one passenger fled in the rideshare vehicle, a black Honda Accord that was found abandoned a short distance away. Initial reports indicated that both suspects fled in the vehicle, believed to be model year 2014 or 2016, but investigators later clarified that one fled on foot. ...Did you see them? (KTXL) — Did you look up to the sky on Thursday night and see any northern lights?The National Weather Service said that a severe geomagnetic storm alert was in effect Thursday night, with the northern lights visible as far south as Alabama and Northern California. The northern lights, also known as auroras or aurora borealis, are caused by solar flares from the sun and are usually visible in higher latitudes.Cameras operated by PG&E near Mt.
