Florida State’s Mike Norvell wins Dodd Trophy as coach of the year following 13-win season ATLANTA (AP) — Florida State’s Mike Norvell has won the Dodd Trophy as national coach of the year after leading the Seminoles to a 13-0 record.The No. 4 Seminoles will play No. 6 Georgia in Saturday’s Orange Bowl.The award announced Friday honors scholarship, leadership and integrity, as well as success on the field. Victim, suspect in deadly San Marcos stabbing identified SAN DIEGO -- A victim and suspect have been identified after a deadly stabbing Tuesday in San Marcos, authorities said.Angela Marie Lanway, 42, was announced as the deceased, Lt. Joseph Jarjura with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said in a news release Friday. Ziyah Jay Patterson, 29, was arrested on suspicion of murdering Lanway and booked into the Vista Detention Facility.On the evening of Dec. 26, a stabbing was reported in the 100 block of N.
