TEXAS (KXAN) -- An unusual furry friend paid a visit to the Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park last week and has perplexed visitors since. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department posted a night camera shot of the critter on its Facebook page Thursday, which has since garnered traction online."We're scratching our heads trying to identify this elusive creature. Is it a new species? An escapee from a nearby zoo? Or just a park ranger in disguise?" park officials said in the tongue-in-cheek post.Officials added the animal is likely an American badger, different from the honey badger that is native to Africa and Asia. "While Americans Badgers are not commonly seen in the valley (partly due to their nocturnal behavior), this is part of their natural range," the post concluded.‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Hairspray’ and the return of the smash ‘SIX’ among the shows in the Ordway’s new Broadway season

With Byron Buxton, Carlos Correa and Joey Gallo on the bench Monday afternoon — the former eventually came in to pinch hit and the latter two are dealing with day-to-day injuries — and White Sox ace Dylan Cease on the mound, the Twins were in for an uphill battle before the first pitch of Monday’s game was thrown. The Twins tried to claw their way up that hill, scratching together three runs against Cease — the last time they faced him, Cease came within one out of a no-hitter — but it wasn’t enough. The Twins fell into a hole in the fourth inning and never recovered, despite some gifted opportunities from the White Sox, in a 4-3 loss on Monday afternoon at Target Field.“Our bench obviously was pretty stacked today with good players that needed a day or two to get back to close to full strength,” manager Rocco Baldelli said. “Sometimes you come to the park and you have to find other ways to win.”But on Monday, they were unable to.After White Sox (5-6) third baseman Hanser Alber...City of Amsterdam presents Earth Day Cleanup
