Austin (KXAN) -- Sneezing? Sniffling? It could be allergies. Central Texas pollen continues to heat up. Early April is when we, on average, hit the middle and peak of the majority of our Spring Tree pollens. Here is a look at what pollen to expect here in central Texas:Austin Allergy CalendarNotice once we get to the end of May and early June is when we typically stop experiencing Tree pollen. Right on cue, Willow trees have jumped to the highest count of the season reaching 832 grains per cubic meter. Oak trees, the worst of them all during this time of the year, continue to remain in the 'Very High' category with a whopping 11,753 grains per cubic meter. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Sunday, State Police arrested Kayla Willis, 34, of Schenectady. Willis was charged with three counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree and three counts of Attempted Petit Larceny. Police say the arrest was made following an investigation into reports of people attempting to cash fraudulent checks throughout the Capital Region. Investigations determined that Willis had tried to cash fraudulent checks at Albany, Rotterdam, and Schenectady financial institutions. Willis was located at her home and transported to State Police Headquarters in Latham for processing. Willis was issued multiple appearances tickets to appear in court at a later date. SAUGERTIES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Sunday, Saugerties Police arrested Jason Dominguez, 37, of Hudson, following an incident at 87 Delaware Street in Glasco. Dominguez was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Police say Dominguez had forced his way into the victim's house, threw the victim on the floor, and took their cell phone to prevent them from contacting police. The victim's 9-year-old daughter was present and witnessed the incident. NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Canajoharie Police Chief Bryan McFadden has given an update regarding the body found near Lions Park in Niskayuna. The body, found Saturday around 4:05 p.m., was identified as Kevin White, 42, reported missing in January. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Per McFadden, a kayaker on the Mohawk called the police he saw the body floating in the water. Niskayuna Ice and Water Rescue responded with an airboat, and officers confirmed that the body wore khaki pants and a green shirt. Schenectady County Coroner Mark Dufresne sent the body to Ellis Medicine pending an autopsy at 9 a.m. on Monday.Before the autopsy was completed, McFadden noted that the clothing and a hand tattoo on the body appeared to match White. Aurora police are looking for leads after a 36-year-old woman was shot to death near a grocery store in Aurora on Saturday.Police are hoping anyone who lives near the scene of the crime near the intersection of East 6th Avenue and North Del Mar Circle and who has surveillance cameras can review the footage from 6-6:30 p.m. Saturday and let them know of any suspicious activity.A police officer flagged down by a neighbor who saw the woman bleeding from her gunshot wounds performed CPR. Riders on the Regional Transportation District’s southeast light-rail lines will face service disruptions, including less-frequent trains, for about six months as the transit agency performs retaining wall maintenance work.Starting Monday, E-Line trains are running with normal 15-minute frequency for most of the day between Union Station and Southmoor, but service has been cut to every 30 minutes between Southmoor and RidgeGate Parkway in Lone Tree. The R-Line, which connects Aurora to south metro cities, is now running only between the Peoria and Florida stations, with service suspended to nine stations between Florida and Lincoln Station near Lone Tree.Those disruptions to the partially overlapping lines will allow for maintenance work next to tracks that run alongside Interstate 25, according to an RTD news release.Crews will inspect and repair coping panels, which are caps on top of retaining walls, between the I-25/Broadway and Lincoln stations.
