Lineup announced for Schaghticoke summer concert series SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schaghticoke Entertainment Committee has announced the free summer concert lineup for 2023. The 16th annual Thursday Evening Concert Series will take place every Thursday this summer beginning on June 22. Residents can register with the Northeastern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross here or contact the Red Cross at [email protected]. Not only will volunteers install smoke alarms, but they will also share information on the causes of home fires, how to prevent them, what to do if a fire breaks out, and how to create an escape plan. Dartarius Gibson, 37, is charged with three felonies in the investigation, including two counts of rape/attempted rape and one count of sodomy/attempted sodomy. Prosecutors have charged Emily Buell, 33, with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child and abuse or neglect of a child (resulting in death). Around 10 a.m. Monday, authorities were informed that the boy had fallen into a swimming pool in the 11000 Block of Cedar Grove Lane. The boy was rushed to a hospital, but later died from his injuries. Buel is jailed in Phelps County in a $100,000 bond, per Missouri court records.

Placentia pursuit ends with police shooting A man was shot and wounded by detectives from the Placentia Police Department at the end of a pursuit in Fullerton Tuesday evening.The detectives were in the 3300 block of East Yorba Linda Boulevard to take into custody a man connected to a stalking investigation, the department said in a news release. When the detectives tried to contact the man a few minutes before 6 p.m., at least one PPD member opened fire.Police did not detail what prompted the shooting, whether the man was armed, how many detectives fired their weapons or how many times the man was shot, but they did confirm that he was taken to a local hospital.
