Brigham and Women’s Hospital has now been accused of five cases of improperly disposing of the fetal remains, lawyers stated in a hearing in Suffolk Superior Court.“The plaintiffs, despite the best efforts of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, have discovered that this is not an isolated incident,” said Patrick Driscoll, lawyer for the plaintiffs, at the hearing. “There are actually five effected families, where their child’s remains were discarded in a 17-month period starting in August of 2020 against their wishes.”The hearing, presided over by Judge Michael Doolin, stemmed from a lawsuit brought by the parents of baby Everleigh, a 12-day old newborn who died at Brigham and Women’s in Aug. 6, 2020.When a funeral home employee went to collect Everleigh’s body days after her death, according to court documents, morgue staff was unable to located her remains. DURHAM, N.H. — Former President Donald Trump returned to the Granite State for a Saturday rally at the University of New Hampshire, where he half-filled the school’s hockey arena with hundreds of MAGA faithful. After mounting a stage set just to one side of center ice, the 45th President launched into his typically bombastic style of stump speech, jumping into attacks against President Joe Biden during his opening remarks and hammering the sitting commander-in-chief’s record as the address continued.“Not one thing has gotten better under crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said. “Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are incapable of solving any problems.”“All that will change when the polls close on election night in 2024,” he said. “By Christmas of next year the economy will be roaring back.”Trump’s speech, which lasted about an hour-and-a-half, was wide ranging and somewhat rambling, jumping from topic to topic rapidly and with little or no evidence provided to back up his claims. At one point ea...Fire destroys Oceanside mobile home, damages others

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico’s Maya Train rail project opened partially to the general public Saturday, amid hours-long delays and huge cost overruns. Passengers waiting for the twice-daily train to leave the resort of Cancun were left waiting on the platform for about five hours before being able to board. Officials apologized for the delayed and said it was due to trains being “reconfigured.”Some passengers napped on the floor of the concrete platform. Some — many self-declared supporters of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador — cheered when the train finally appeared in Cancun. The train running in the other direction from the Gulf coast colonial city of Campeche was also delayed for hours, because only one side of the planned double rail line is finished. Officials estimated it would take about 5 1/2 hours to travel the 290 miles (473 kilometers) from Campeche to Cancun.Meanwhile, the cost of the project has soared from original estimates of around $8.5 billion, to as much as $28 ...Teenager Alex Batty returns to Britain after being missing for 6 years and then turning up in France

SEATTLE (AP) — A Washington state man in jail awaiting trial in one murder case has been charged with three more killings, and prosecutors say he lured all four victims by asking them to help dig up buried gold. Richard Bradley Jr., 40, was charged in May 2021 with first-degree murder in the death of 44-year-old Brandi Blake, whose body was found buried in a sprawling park in the town of Auburn, Washington.
