It's the world's first vaccine for RSV and the Food and Drug Administration gave the nod Wednesday. It's called Arexvy and the shot is designed to prevent Respiratory Syncitial Virus. The approval is limited right now but the vaccine is meant to have broad benefits.More than 14,000 people die every year after an RSV infection. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- On-board video showed a crash between an Austin-Travis County EMS ambulance crashing with another vehicle at an intersection in north Austin Wednesday, Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 confirmed in a statement to KXAN.Shortly before 8:45 a.m., a vehicle with three people inside collided with a Travis County ESD No. 2 EMS ambulance at the intersection of Burnet Road and Shoreline Drive in north Austin, the statement said.One person was taken to St. David's Hospital Round Rock for further assessment, and no other injuries were reported for the three ESD No. 2 medics, the statement said.Officials said a reserve ambulance is now in service to replace the ambulance involved in the crash."We are thankful the accident was not more severe and wish the individual a speedy recovery," ESD No. 2 said in the statement.After conceding St. Paul City Council endorsement, Isaac Russell jumps back into Ward 3 race

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Interstate 270 reopened Wednesday night after being shut down for nearly five hours following a fatal crash where one person died, and two others were seriously injured.According to a spokesperson for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in a crash that happened around 5:45 p.m. The cars were traveling in the middle lane on southbound I-270. ST. LOUIS - A woman was shot and killed just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Marriott parking garage in downtown St. Louis. Police said the woman was shot several times at the parking garage on North 9th Street and Washington Avenue. What led up to the shooting is unknown.The garage was closed for about two hours as no cars were allowed in or out. William Johnson, a valet who was parking cars at the time of the shooting, said the shooting was “scary” but that it wouldn’t stop him from working.
