Pedestrian struck and killed in suspected DUI collision on rural Pittsburg road PITTSBURG — A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle driven on a rural bypass road by a person suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said.The suspected DUI collision happened about 1:15 a.m. Thursday morning on Kirker Pass Road at Nortonville Road, according to a statement from Pittsburg police.Authorities did not publicly identify the pedestrian immediately, pending the notification of next of kin.The driver who struck the person stayed on the scene.
